So I FINALLY got around to take a pic of my precious LANVIN *hearts* H&M pumps since they came out and well, without further adue.....

I've been so busy daydreaming about them and staring at them I didn't put the pic up lol! I wanted the printed trench as well but there was non sent to my store... bummer; but I'm SOOO excited I recieved these. They are dubbed my official 'Carrie Bradshaw' pumps :-)

Just One More Day!!!

Okay now the Lanvin launch is just short of a day away and the buzz around town is getting CRAZY! Everyone is soooo anxious and excited (so am I) for its debut. There are a few pieces from the collection that are exquisite, but my absolute FAVORITE pieces are as follows:

I'm in LOVE with this printed trench for $199... so far my store hasn't gotten it in. I'll keep my fingers crossed, though.

I'm DYING to have these pumps! They WILL be in my life after Saturday, LOL! They are so perfect and elegant. I'll wear them to the grocery store, shopping, lunching and even to BED! Teehee

YAAAY!! My Boots Came!!

I have been anxiously awaiting my over-the knee boots' arrival for like the past WEEK, and now, they're FINALLY here! I'm SOOOOO excited and can't WAIT to wear them. I think I may wear them to bed tonight ;-)

Accessory of the week

Since Lanvin is launching with H&M in Atlanta this week, I will pay homage to the actual ridiculously priced retail brand. These snakeskin wedges caught my attention because, well, LOOK AT THEM! Lol. they are everything you vould ever want in a wedge. It's classy, chic and girly. If you're more of a punk rock girl.... browse another site. Alber services to the powerful, yet girly woman verses the punk chic girl. I'm in LOVE with these quite frankly :-D

My Quest for Over-the-Knee Boots

The other day... well for the past couple of months actually, I have been on a (seemed to be impossible) search for a great pair of over-the-knee black boots and could not find any ANYWHERE. I browsed several popular shopping sites and some of my favorite sites, but there was no luck. It was either that, or the prices were ridiculous. It's a recession honey; I am NOT about to pay $300 for a pair of boots when I KNOW there is a decent pair out there for at least under $100..and I'm not talking about $99.99 lol (although I would, but that's a different story). Anywho, I FINALLY found an amazing pair from this wonderful site called www.alloy.com ! I was SOOOOOO excited when I found these boots because they are 24" tall (perfect) and they are only $49.90!! That is incredible...inCREDible! So now I am patiently awaiting my precious boots. They should arrive any DAY now.. and I'll be sure to inform you (along with pics) when they come ;-)

LANVIN for H&M!!!

So the date is RAPIDLY approachin for the Atlanta launch of Lanvin H&M and I am STOKED! Over the past few days we've been getting in various pieces for the Saturday debut and from the looks that we've gotten, my favorites are the all black zebra print trench coat, the GORGEOUS cerulean metallic heeled pump, and the purple-belted one shoulder dress. This is pretty exciting and I can't WAIT to shop the collection and share my pics with you all! Satuday November 20th 2010 is the date people, mark your cals!!

Quick update...

Hey there fashionistas! The other day I told you all I bought the H&M get warm stripe dress... Well, I ended up having to return it because I didn’t have the right figure for it :-( word from the wise, "if you dnt feel comfy in wht u wear, you're not suppose to wear it". The bright side is that I bought the matching scarf and I LOVE it. I was buying these pieces because Iove the colors. As we all know now, wanted to create the look like on Daria, but that didn’t work out the way I planned lol. I love the scarf waaaaay more than I do the dressnow anyway. You should try the dress on too, and if you like the fit, WORK iT! Knock yourself out! H&Ms Get Warm Campagn

Sooooo Fall is slowly setting in (as you can tell by the weather changes). Going into retail and


department stores you see the sweaters, coats, boots and all kinds of beloved Fall/Winter-y


attire. The best and number one place to go and get smart buys is H&M. This season's campaign


is known as the 'Get Warm' campaign which consists of chunky knits, bold stripes and vibrant


colors. I love the print ad because the models are fun, sexy and comfy. Here are a few pics of

My 'Love of My Life' Bag

So I bought this bag like a month or so ago and wore it for the first time today and when I say it turned heads..... I mean! It is SOOO huge and roomy and I can literally fit my life in it! The texture is incredible and the snakeskin detail tops it all off. This was DEFINATELY a great investment! Lol

So the past few weeks have been SUPER crazy for incredibly beauttiful model Daria Werbowy. She has been the face of many fashion design labels and most recently, H&M! If you've been by a television set you can't help but see the new H&M commercials featuring the ponchos and denim for $19.95, the men's button up shirt for $9.95 and the ever-so-lovely trench coat for $34.95. So today me and one of my bffs went to the debut of the Kardashians for BEBE and it was really amazing. We really love the line and ended up trying on a couple of looks as well as accessories. Here are a couple of pic of our Kardash-BEBE adventures...!

So super ice skater Johnny Weir is Rachel's newest client. How fab is he? I mean REALLY?!

Leather Flight Jacket

One of the hottest items this Fall is the Leather Flight Jacket---> isn't it amazing?? I have done some research and found two of almost the same; same craftsmanship from two different designers!

The first one is by the fabulous retail designer H&M for the luxury price of $299.00. Now for a retailer, this is a really great buy. The fabric used is impeccable and it is actually genuine leather.

On the other hand there is a similar Flight Jacket by Manhattan based and incredible fashion designer (and one of my fave designers) Rachel Roy. Rachel's version is a vest, though. So I'm guessing $50 per sleeve in order to give you this fairer price. This vest is also 100% leather. AND it's only $199.00!!

Now you can pay $299 H&M's and get a pretty cool jacket, or you can buy the (bigger) brand name vest by Rachel Roy for only $199.00.... in my opinion, I love them both, but in this economy (and the fact that a name brand is cheaper than a retailer), I'd choose Rachel Roy's. Even though her version is a vest, you can always layer it with a really chic and comfy sweater or even a classic turtlenect. I'll buy all other items from H&M that is not an exact replica for cheap elsewhere. :-)

Okay so a couple of episodes have passed and we now know who the newest clients are on the Rachel Zoe Project (in case you haven't been watching-- SHAME on you! LoL).


The first is the ever-so-fabulous supermodel Naomi Campbell. She was a featured because of her charity beneft to the Haiti crisis and performed a fashion show in dedication to fashion icon and genius Alexander McQueen (r.i.p).

And the other ever-so-popular and chic/ punk rocker is Gwen Stefani. She showed her upcoming line to Rachel to see if she could get some of her other clients to wear her designs for events. How exciting!

Military Looks

Okay so I pretty much LIVE for kick-ass military jackets! This season is all about the warm and neautral colors and the best one out now is the army and olive green. As I flipped through a mag, I saw 'The City' personelle Olivia Palermo strutting the streets of New York with her full-on chic army look and fell in love! I admire the way she put this particular outfit together because it is very doable and looks effortless. I'm not a huge fan of her character, but I have to admit, this girl has style... and of THAT I am a fan.

(And omg does this girl look so much like Julia Roberts?!)

Doutzen Kroes is Expecting a Baby!!!

The GORGEOUS Dutch VS supermodel is expecting a baby with boyfriend DJ Sunnery James (shown on the far left) in January 2011!! I just got wind of the news and I am sooo happy for them. I don't know why but it's always so exciting to hear that there is a baby coming into the world. So CONGRATS to the parents-to-be!!
