I came upon the pics taken from our FNO trip and remembered what a great and beautiful experience it was. My Mom, friend and co-blogger RebelRane and I had the best time of our lives and I hope we can all make this an annual thing. From bright lights, celebrity sightings and even running into our old friend walking the streets of NY, the night was never-ending with fun and surprises!

And if you will be partaking in someone else's feast, substitute bringing your 'famous cobbler' with a special gift for the host. Everyone loves the scents of cranberry, pies, stuffings and such, but when the plates are cleared away and the guests have dispersed, they're left with the lingering but fading aromas- that citrus scented dish soap isn't going to do the trick.
May I suggest a home fragrance, candle?
Yankee makes some yummy scents. Lemon lavender could be perfect for a calming after dinner atmosphere.

November has arrived, and although in some places the hot and cold weather are playing a game of cat and mouse, there is a distinct nip in the air and bite in the breeze. We're probably still weeks away from the bitter cold- not yet white, but definitely grey.
As a nod to Fashionista V and her love of H&M, I encourage all fashionistas to check out the Grey Collection for women. Knits, sweats and wools (great for layering), seem to be the bulk of the pieces, but I must say the leather jacket and shoes are very cool staples for the transitioning winter wardrobe. Not for the super overly cute girly girl work closet, but something she can definitely change into for fun, or darker, grey moments.
My suggestion is to grab any lighter weight fabrics offered at your nearest H&M location before months' end and slip them into your day to day mix. The more costly jackets and boots can be placed on your wish list for the holiday so you gradually have the best of the Grey world.

I am stoked to see DVF, Solange who will be the DJ at DVF, Marc Jacobs, Victoria Beckham, Chanel Iman, Doutzen Kroes, Michael Kors, (hubby in my head) Usher, Kim Kardashian and Dwayne Wade.The list of celeb appearances go on and on, and there is NO telling who else will pop up! Either way, I'm totally anxious for the next 5 days to pass lol!

You all know how much I love H&M (it's literally my 2nd home!) Well, this year they will have TWO designer collaborations...back to back! This October, October 4th to be exact, Editor-in-chief of Japanese Vogue Anna Dello Russo will create an accessories line with the mass fashion retailer! Only problem? It will only be in select locations...bummer! And guess what? If you are an Atlanta resident, like myself, you won't be able to shop it. This is SO unfair and unfortunate, but if you are a die-hard fashionista like me, you'll travel to your nearest H&M that WILL carry her line to buy a few of her pieces! LOL! So I've been out of the cyber loop for a while, but for good reasoning! My job sent me to the wonderful and fabulous South Beach Miami for three months and can I just say that those were the best three months this year! I met so many awesome people, gained new friends and made so many lasting and great memories. If I could rewind time and live it again, I would!
