New York Fashion Week is here!

It's official, New York Fashion Week is finally here! The 2009 premiere showcases the latest trends from all of the top designers (some are featured below). From September 10th through September 17th, fashion in NYC is going to be the BIGGEST extraveganza of 2009. A city-wide clothing drive goes on that week as well.

Fashionista Nicole Richie Has Given Birth to her Second Child

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed new born 7lb, 14oz baby boy Sparrow James Midnight Madden into the world this past Sunday. What happened to naming the baby Michael after her Godfather Michael Jackson? When Michael passed in June, Nicole said that she was going to name the baby, if it was a boy, Michael, and if it was a girl, Michelle. I find that odd how she came up with Sparrow... hmm... But at least now Harlow Winter Kate Richie Madden has a little brother to pick on and 'beat up' LOL (what sister doesn't). I can NOT wait till the spread appears in one of the tabloid magazines. Congrats you guys. :-)

Kristin Davis' Clothing Line is Canceled from New York Fashion Show

Sex and the City star Kristin Davis (plays the role of Charlotte York) was to launch her new clothing line with department store Belk at a New York Fashion Show Sunday September 13, 2009. The show has been canceled due to a last minute change of heart from Davis. "I'm looking forward to taking my brand in a new direction and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead."

Davis created the line exclusively with Belk in 2008. Her line is composed of a contemporary/ chic look for the modern day woman. I for one was looking forward to her new collection. I guess we will have to wait and see what move she makes (what store she decides to branch with) with her line. To bad for Belk...
