This week spotted trotting around the set of 'Gossip Girl' was Leighton Meester aka Blair Waldorf. She is nice and warm in this vintage-style off-grey peacoat. She dressed it up with some cream colored booties and a HUGE comfy scarf. The look is classy and rich... so Blair.

I am more of a simple-yet-elegant person myself. That's why this week's Outfit of the Week is on Jessica Alba. In this outfit you can go shopping with your friends, run errands, or even go on a chill date with your boo. This beautiful woman is truely amazing. She graced the Victoria's Secret fashion show stage with JUST popping out baby number 4 a couple of weeks prior! She looked incredible and in shape. She is the epitime of a model woman. Go Heidi!

Accessory of the Week

What a surprise! My totebag is this week's 'Accessory of the Week'! "Why?", you ask? It is because this tote is beautifully made and you can "tote" ANYTHING in it. It is very durable and fun.... sure to turn heads!

Minor Adjustments

So I have a little situation with my skirt. My pics won't be up until later this week due to some minor adjustments. I have to make sure it's perfect for the world to see! :-)

A New Tote

This is the tote that I made a couple of weeks ago. I was in a semi-competition and won over the critics and decided to share with you all. If you like and want one for yourself, let me know; most of my totes range from $15-$25. I can create any style of any kind. Your wish is my design :-)

I'm Working on It

So I'm still learning how to sew (i'm a beginner) and I'm almost finished my skirt! I just need to clean finish my hem and I'm all set. I will DEFINATELY have pictures up of it and the many ways you can wear it.. I'm SO excited! Now, I'm working on my vest... that should be done in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

This Week's Accessory is a pair of Emporio Armani black (with gold touches) booties. Aren't they adorb? The will run you $765 but they are well worth it. With intense detail these booties will surely be the PERFECT accessory with any and EVERY outfit. Loves.

Agnes Deyn is sensational. From music videos, runways, and other endeavors, she never disappoints. She is this week's model because she is beautiful, edgy (no matter who she walks for) and chic. Loves her :-)

My girl Rihanna looked SO STUNNING at the Glamour awards for Empowering Women of the Year. She graced the red carpet and her presents was more than welcoming. This week's 'Pic of the Week' goes to her and legendary iconic model Iman (above top). They are two beautiful and powerful and well-respected women in our society and I am pleased to blog about them. It was well deserved.

Accessory of the Week

This headpiece is Nicole's signature look. It highlights the entire outfit and is the first thing you see whether in a picture (here) or if you were to see her in person. This Bohemian-chic fashionista has her own line of fab and affordable jewelry out now called House of Harlow 1960.

Amerie is in the peak of her career now and it's better than ever. She's more exposed and know for her work more nowadays. She has the title of 'Outfit of the Week' this week because... well.. look at her. She has taken this cute button-down dress and paired it with some neutral (Louboutins) and turned her day to a laid back casual one. She didn't over-do it with pairing the dress with, say, red pumps or other colored pumps. The bag adds a touch of color without putting "too much effort" into the outfit. She kept her look simple and breezy. OH! and I LOVE the shades by the way :-)

Model of the Week

The model of the week this week is Jourdan Dunn. This stunning 19 year old is the face of many companies as for advertisments and major shows. Last month I mentioned her with Chanel Iman on the cover of Teen Vogue Magazine. They were the FIRST two African-American women on a single cover in Teen Vogue history! Congrats! Jourdan is beautiful, elegant, and rocker-chic all in one, and THAT is why she's this week's model of the week. Keep on rockin, girlfriend!

This week's model is Jessica Stam. She embraces the catwalk with her pouty lips and adolescent and youthful looks. She has walked in shows for Victoria's Secret, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Hermes, and among many other designers.

Don't Do It

Ladies (and fabulous Gents) don't get SUCKED into the whole expensive jean trend. They're nice, and have great quality, but spending $100+ for a pair is rediculous, but hey, if you got it, flaunt it. As a "voice of reason" invest in accessories because you wear them with ALL of your outfits anyway, why not? You can buy incredible jeans from discount stores, or even major department stores (on clearance) and pay a fraction of the actual retail price. For the everyday recessionista (like me), it can be pretty easy to fall into the traps of the media. Don't Do It. Seriously, we see our fave celebs in high end brands and wish we could afford the items, but let's face it, we can't; not all of us anyway. Be smart with buying clothes. Fashion has absolutely NO rules and it's not like someone is going to walk up to you, and pull down your jeans JUST to see what name brand you're rocking. Take my advice and let someone ELSE to the major spending. When they get tired of it and want to move on, trust and believe they will get rid of it... and you'll be there to scoop it up for a damn good and affordable price. Can I get a "Whuuut whuuuut"? hehehe

Just so you are informed, when buying a cardigan, be sure to buy them at bargain prices. My advice is to not invest in a cardigan by paying a lot of money for one and wearing it over and over. Check out thrift stores, Plato's, and other discount stores for them. I mean, why pay over $100 for just ONE cardigan when you can buy at least 10 of them combined for that price? Makes sense? Of course it does! Lol. If you want to settle on one, fine, but don't pay more than $20 for it... Forever 21 and H&M carries them at amazingly LOW prices.

This week's title goes to Taylor Swift! I adore this look; it's cute, casual, and chic with an edgy feel to it. I love how to top is a cool fall-y color and the boots gives a complement to the handbag. It's cool and laid back.

I LOVE Hayden Panettiere, but that's not why she's this week's outfit (wearer) of the week. The way she has paired this cute teal/ blue plaid shirt with mini white shorts and brown frilly flat boots has inspired a new look for many. Look how she is styling and profiling without trying too hard. I love it!






Although, she should have worn her hair in a ponytail, it would have been even cuter because a ponytail gives an "effort" look verses just wearing your hair down.
