Outfit of the Week

Nicole's new style (for now) is Boho-Chic. I actually love this look on her because she's a petite size and can wear the baggiest clothes and be able to pull it off. Like this week's look for example, the huge poncho/ shaw is warm and she added a splash of color Red scarf) to the outfit. It's a contrast of colors, but not overdone.

Accessory of the Week

Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite designers, so it's no surprise that his RTW runway bow is this week's accessory. I love this quirky look. It's very fun, feminine, and girly. Don't you love???

Model of the Week

Alek Wek is the model that is superior. Honestly, she's the epitome of African beauty. I love how designers have dark skinned models and not always light skinned. It's good to have a variety of color and she is the one. She has graced the runways over 10 years and has walked for Alexander Wang, Louis Vuitton, and in this pic of the week, Christian Dior (the gold pic is of Louis V). Go get 'em, girl!

So J. Lo is on the cover of last month's issue of ALLURE magazine and this particular pic in the spread cught my attention. The pic is of a white/ black feel, but don't you just love how the black dominates the photo? She kind of looks like a gorgeous, fierce lion gazing back at her prey. Anyways, I love it. What do you think?

Accessory of the Week

Since the Haiti earthquake, designers have been inspired by the culture and how the Haitian people have remained faithful to life. This Giuseppe Zanotti pump is dedicated to the life and culture of those people. In respect to the country of Haiti, this pump is the accessory of the week.

Model of the Week

Lily Cole is one of the most known models in the indusrty today. Lily has this edgy, babydoll-ish face and the figure of a walking pencil. Her firey red locks and splash of freckles sets her apart and makes her unique. She is overly well known in England and has walked for top designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, YSL and among others.

I think Megan Fox totaly rocked this outfit. It's a little punk and a comfy/conservative. It looks like she was just hanging out on the town, a pretty chill day. It is very carefree yet stylish and she added a touch of boyness with her boyfriend-styled jeans. The outfit is effortless.

Model of the Week

... Sasha Pivovarova is an incredible model. I first noticed her at a Miss Sixty fashion show online and I fell in love with her walk. The way she hits the runway is a fun and energetic sassy but elegant strut. I also love her eyes... how they have a popping feel, cute, baby-dollish blue. And if you look a little deeper, she kind of looks like an older Dakota Fanning... that's just me lol.

So I've been out of the loop for a while because of the holidays and weather but the fashionista is back! It's a new year and time for new things! What did you all do over the holidays? What are some of your NYears resolutions?? I made a list of all mine and I'm just thriving to accomplish them all.
